“We had a very positive experience exhibiting at Harrogate International Nursery Fair, where we had the opportunity to build on customer relationships and make new ones. Thank you to the Harrogate team for being so wonderfully organized and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for a successful show!” Tiffany Ng, Bravado Designs
“The show was very good for us. It gives us a good platform as a new brand to be seen and for buyers to try the products. We met with major account buyers, lots of independents and struck up some great PR deals. The most satisfying meeting for me, as founder, was with a buyer who’d received our sample and had raised some concerns. We were able to demonstrate the improvements we had made and now he’s back in the loop! So very pleased with that.” Catherine Curtis, Baby Hub
“Just to say to you and everyone else involved that I was so glad we made the decision to come along to join in. Top marks to all of you. Saw loads of old friends. Had a super night out on Tuesday with customers. Even been invited to Asda who loved my “cardboard boxes” and want British changing mats rather than their Chinese ones! Big things happen when the buyers change. PS. I DID SELL SOME MATTRESSES TOO.... ” Kathy, Babywise
“When we first booked the stand I wasn’t sure that this week day exhibiting would work for all.
On the first day we hadn’t had any customers till lunch time and it was really worrying – but soon after lunch it got started and we were busy till end. The second day turned out to be the best day for us and were busy from start. Final day we hardly get any customers but this year we managed to get 4 good orders.
So on the whole it was fantastic for us – we missed the small Sunday clients but these, we will probably follow up from the office.
We will defiantly book for next year – even if you go back to weekend we are happy.” Diapk Tanna, Sheldon International
“We’ve shown at Harrogate Nursery Fair for the past 10+ Years. It never disappoints – Good Orders taken and New accounts met. It does exactly what it says on the tin.” Alex Kenyon – Padgett Bros
“Once again most of our key Independents visited our Stand and our order book exceeded last year’s total, so we are very happy. How else can you meet 100 key retailers in a quality way in just 3 days!
The visitors are clearly serious about their business, coming to Harrogate seeking and valuing new or continued close partnerships with brands like BeSafe that want to truly contribute to long term sales & profit growth together.
The Show offers an amazing opportunity to have a higher quality meeting with our retailer network over a shorter period of time than is possible ‘on the road’. For visitors the BeSafe Special Offers alone would have paid for most people’s travel costs and significantly more, but the value of coming and having a thorough discussion with your suppliers is of course much, much greater. Why wouldn’t you visit?” Paul Sirett, Be Safe
“Red Kite decided at the last minute to exhibit again at the Harrogate Fair as we have previously exhibited every year and wanted to continue supporting the fair. We are really pleased that we made this last minute decision as we had a really positive and upbeat show! As usual the fair gave us the opportunity to showcase some new product launches from which we received fantastic feedback from buyers and customers. We were really pleased that we entered the BANTA awards this year as both products submitted were short listed and we won the In Home category for our new Panda Booster! Footfall did appear to be less than previous years yet again, and the move to mid week did affect attendance from some of our independent customers. However most key buyers attended the show and I would say we definitely had our busiest ever last day at a show!” Debra Tucker, Red Kite
“Every year is different and this year Harrogate was more about quality than quantity. Despite scaremongering that no one would show, there was a real buzz around from both visitors and exhibitors and a sense that business was being done.
Trade shows such as ours have to evolve as business changes, the new mid-week dates helped to give the show a more professional feel and reflect our changing industry. Excited to see how the show will evolve for 2018.” Rachelle Harel, RHSM Group
“Overall, we felt that the Harrogate Fair was positive for us. As the exhibitor numbers were smaller, visitors had more time to linger on our stand. We had a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate new products and allow time for meaningful conversations about future business. Because of this, we took more orders than we ever have in previous years.” Sinead Murphy, Shnuggle
“Well done to you and your team for another excellent show, the quality of buyers was magnificent!” David Green, Cloud b
“It’s was a pleasure to visit Harrogate in the springtime as usual and we had a very good turnout of customers, I think that those customers who made the effort to come have really benefited from some great show offers (exclusive to show attendees) and the relaxed atmosphere was conducive to business. A big thank you to all our customers who attended and who we very much enjoy seeing year after year” Anthony Butters, BabyStyle
“BabyStyle has always been a staunch supporter of Harrogate International Nursery Fair although we had some reservations for 2017 concerning the decision to alter the show to midweek. These concerns though proved to be rather unfounded as even though retailer numbers were down compared to previous years those retailers who did attend came to carry out some serious business and Harrogate 2017 actually proved to be one of the most successful in recent years for BabyStyle.” Andy Crane - BabyStyle
